My darling li'l Mini had recovered from her severe fur loss problem. It was due to my ignorance, fed her too much fresh vegetable that have alot of water content. Causing her to have diarrhoea, fur loss, and also full of water that stopped her from drinking water from her bottle. Luckily I asked Pet Lovers Centre about it. The guy asked me what did I usually feed her and I was so shy to reply coz the food was sooo wrong and the amount was wayyyy too much. He said it wasn't recommended to feed hamsters with fresh vegetables. Even if you wanna give those, have to be put inside the cage for only 1hr afterwhich you'll have to throw the leftover away. There might be a lot of bacteria stick to the veg. That's why.
Anyways...I stop totally on the veg. Providing her with the normal hamster food. I specially bought her the one that's good for her coat coz it consists of fish. When I opened it at home, the fish is IKAN BILIS -.- My goodness~ Even hamsters eat ikan bilis. LOL. Poor fish.
The veg diet stoppage really worked! Mini is now so fluffy and furry. So cute!!! XD She looks like a furbal. Especially when she sleeps on her running wheel and curled up. If only she was bigger, I'd hug her! Hehehe. And my new discovery was that Mini took her food container as the food burial. She'd put every seeds I gave into her cheek and it got so bloated that I feel like catching and play with her. After I stop feeding, she'd dig out the recycled paper bedding in the food container and then push out the food out of her cheek. Then, ended it with hiding the food by burying with the bedding again. It looked like as if she was vomitting. But it was so cute. I forgotten that hamsters would hide their food. It's been quite long since the last hamster I own.
